It's a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord

So the other day I got some good news that I had been waiting for. Really, really good news. The good old church song that came to my mind was, "It's a good thing, to give thanks unto the Lord! And sing praises, unto his name." It seemed fitting for this particular situation but also reminded me that we need to be thankful for all that we have, not just when we get what we want.

Chinese New Year

We hosted a Chinese New Year Dinner at our house on February 6th.  In previous years, we have always gone to a restuarant for either Dim Sum or dinner, but this year we decided it would be best to eat at one of our homes.  The kids had fun playing together and they were all adorable in their Chinese outfits.
