God Wants Me to Know...

...that nothing is exciting if I know what the outcome is going to be. I keep wanting to know how things will play out, keep asking to see the future.  God doesn't give anyone the power to know the future because life becomes maddeningly boring when you know everything upfront. So, instead of struggling, I need to learn to enjoy the uncertainty.  Everything will pan out eventually.  Once again I must remind myself of my most favorite scripture,

"For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord.
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
Plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.

It's already planned out.

Superheros

Jayden is really into superheros lately.  At first Spiderman was the coolest thing ever, but now suddenly his new favorite is "Logan", the Wolverine.  I'm not really into this particular superhero that much and will be relieved when this "phase" has passed.  Since Logan is a "wolverine" he can smell danger and hear things that the ordinary person can't.  Jayden is really into all of this right now.

You'll notice to the left of Logan (he is in the center), the character, Scott, is wearing glasses.  Sometimes Jayden can be found wearing his sunglasses to protect his eyes from shooting all of us, as Scott's eyes do without the protective eyewear on.

Here, Jayden is wearing his glasses in the bathtub so that he doesn't accidentally shoot Emerson.
